A simple thing to check would be to make sure the cables arent lose, with my DVI cables sometimes it will get loose and colors and cause a weird look. You GPU could also have died. Try another monitor and/or cable to double check that.

Is that an old monitor? Is your monitor plugged into the dedicated graphics or CPU integrated graphics? Have you tried both? Try another monitor.

Yeah my bad. The HDMI cable was loose.
