Asus External Optical Drive

Hi all I just bought the Asus Slim External DVD Writer (90-XB0U00DR00010). I plugged it in read the instruction manual (its just a usb powered one) it isn't showing up, yet the power led works, the tray opens, the green indicator blinks when I put a disc into it yet it wont show up on my computer??? it is making the sounds that its reading etc????

plugged into usb 3.0? I had my Nvidia 3D vision kit not working, because of that. Plugging it into a usb 2.0 port worked

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

i cant find drivers, the disk that it came with doesnt load as the drive does appear...

 

you could download them from the asus website I assume
