THIS ISSUE IS SOLVED, HARDWARE FAULT. READ LAST SENTENCE TO SEE WHAT THE FIX IS.

I got this new "Gaming Headset" for Christmas (Inb4 Gaming grade is overpriced comments) and I hooked it up late December of last year. The audio was fine, but because this headset is designed for both console and PC (It has a jack for a controller and an adapter for the jack for the PC.) I noticed the microphone made a strange sound on Windows. (Windows 10, like it means anything to my situation).

This is a badasheng Gaming Headset. The moment I listened to this device.

EARRAPED.

I had to turn it off. I tested the microphone on Steam, all is okay except, my mic echo'd and picked up Windows sound. The echo was the Windows sound. So my entire system sound was playing through my microphone as well as my microphone.

Articles suggest configuring it in Realtek Software, which doesn't work on Windows 10. Not sure why. It never loads. Then there are the forums saying "Disable Stereo Mix" which does nothing, enabling it, same thing, does nothing. I enable audio enhancements on my mic, I adjust it to my liking for what I can hear from it, and it still plays System Sound.

The issue was, the stupid Console Audio Jack (For controllers) to PC Audio Jacks, was loose, it was pushed in gently, instead of forced, and I thought the headphones sounded funny, so I went onto different things, uninstalled my audio driver for my mic. Then restarted my PC, got back onto the PC, headphones were registered as HEADPHONES, not SPEAKERS. For the first time ever. Then there's the hardware issue I found. I thought it seemed odd for system audio and mic audio to be together, so I thought, well, if this is not a hardware fault, then what else could it be? I'm all out of options. As a last resort, I began fiddling with the hardware, I was going to put it into the rear audio jacks, but I decided against it due to its short wire.

The fix for these headphones however, was to SHOVE THE AUDIO JACK IN AS HARD AS YOU CAN (INTO THE PC AUDIO ADAPTER, 1 wire - 2 wires "1 mic, 1 speaker")

I get carried away a lot because of my apparently "Natural Anger Issues". So everything I say is apparently "Natural" but I'm sorry if I offended you anyway, because the people who say that is natural is obviously stupid in the head.

What would you suggest I do?

How exactly is the headset plugged in to your computer?

Here

Ok, well that all looks normal. Also, realtek drivers do work in windows 10 as I am using them now. Just go to your motherboard manufacturers website and find your model. Then go to drivers and utilities or whatever and download the ones appropriate for you in windows 10 regarding realtek.
