Problem with loading BIOS on gigabyte mobo

Last weekend I built my first rig. It booted first time and posted without a hitch. As I have an i7-6700k I wanted to oc a bit or test out 'ocing'  it, so i looked in my mobo manual and booted the pc and mashed delete. I had a mouse plugged in and keyboard at the time, but all that happened when the BIOS 'loaded' was a black screen with a mouse (my mouse, but obviously the BIOS mouse (i mean it wasn't like the mouse you get in windows)). I have installed the mobo drivers, including @bios (I haven't updated to latest version I am just concerned i will make the problem worse if i do).
