Hello,

So I made the mistake of installing K-Lite Pack and it has messed up many programs. I can't launch editing software such as Sony Vegas (File I/O Issue) or Premiere (.avi issue)... However, now I've uninstalled K-Lite and have officially no video codecs and no proper audio codecs (no videos or audio are playable). Is there anyway to get the default Windows 10 codecs for video and audio. Along with this, I require to be able to use .avi in Sony Vegas as well which is another issue I cannot fix now.

I had all this working before I upgraded to a new PC and can't get both problems sorted out. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks,

- Josh (Apoqsi)

If the installation was recent, try a system restore prior to the installation of K-Lite.

It was recent, but it was before I installed all of my software and drivers... At this point a restore would be even more of a headache for me due to the amount I have installed on the drive now. Even if there is a half decent codec pack that works nicely with Sony & Adobe I'm good. :P
