There are tons of apps that do that (you need one) like ES file explorer, aVia etc. really depends on your need and filesystem or connection. Then you have to individually navigate to the media and play it (probably with your desired player). If you´re looking for streaming things all at once to multiple devices that is a different thing I don´t know a quick resolution now.

There are plenty of things to use like others have said.

  • Plex
  • Samba
  • FX(file explorer)
  • You could probably stream using vlc
But I think your best option would be using a samba share so that you can access the NAS as if it were another drive(I'm way oversimplifying this but you get the point). Then you use whatever file browser to access that content on whatever device.

Just don't use ES file explorer its become a botnet.
