Hello people!

My PC could need a bit of an upgrade and that's why i could need some help with my decision.

CPU: I7 2600 so. 1155

GPU: MSI R9 380 4G

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4 GB DDR 3 1600

MB: ASRock B75 PRO 3-M so. 1155

HDD: 1 TB

PSU: BeQuiet 500 W

I could need some advice if i should choose another CPU or something else. I mostly play CS:GO and therefor u need a very high framerate. It makes ur aim smoother and the mousemovement overall more responsive. I'm talking about.. 300 FPS. And no 60 FPS just because i got a 60 Hz monitor are not enough. And i want to play GTA V or JC 3 on high settings 1080p with 60 FPS. But that's it for now. Every reply is highly appreciated. Let the discuss begin!

But if you dont intend to get a new motherboard, ur cpu is already at the top of lga1155 cpus so u cant upgrade that

So u mean that the i7 2600(k) is at the top of that sockel cpus. So, shouldn't i be fine with that? Or should i get an i5 something with an lga 1155?

You can actually get an Ivy Bridge CPU if you want, but you may not have PCIe 3.0.

The cpu is fine. If you need more fps, upgrading the gpu would be the thing to do. Might mean upgrading the psu as well.

What GPU do u think i should get? I didn't want to spend more than 250€. I don't need that ultra settings game experience.

At that budget you are stuck with an R9 380. The psu likely could not handle two R9 380 gpu.
