hdmi not working... sorta

so whenever i boot up my pc using hdmi (mobo) it shows that windows is loading up then goes to a black screen but when i insert a vga cable into my gpu it shows the screen like normal 

P.S. im using dual graphics with my apu and gpu so whether i use the mobo output or gpu output should change performance

P.S.S. and they way my case is and my hdmi cables are too thick where that actual plug like the rubber is so it wont fit ( in worse case scenerio i can always just sand down the rubber)

go buy another cable at walmart
