Hello,

I am new to water cooling and wanted advice on thermal pads. I watched several youtube videos on how to install a gpu waterblock and they all say the provided thermal pads from e.g. EK suck compared to certain after market brands. Will I be fine just using what EK provides?

Can you apply both thermal paste and a pad on top or will that affect cooling?

I would not.  They should be the exact size needed to make contact with the components and the block as they are
