Need help with computer freezing problem

Hi I'm currently having problems with my computer freezing for 20+ seconds the mouse is fully operational but nothing else is I've been having this problem for a couple of weeks. It just seems to be getting worse. I have noticed the problem seems to occur the most when I am just casually browsing the internet. Here are my computer specs.

 

AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor

ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series - Graphics card

MSI 970A-G43 (MS-7693) (CPU 1) - Motherboard

KINGSTON SV300S37A240G - SSD

ST1000DM003-1CH162 - HDD

Corsair RM 550W - PSU

 

I am completely clueless when it comes to building/components on gaming PC so any help to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated
