NAT type 3 PS4

Well... okay, I never really noticed before but my ps4 is NAT type 3. Game downloads, gta online, and pretty much every other game I've tried work perfectly online (except LittleBigPlanet 3 online but that's broken for everybody lol) but I can't for the life of me get party chats working with people of different NAT types.

 

I've tried setting a static ip to my PS4, port forwarding, upnp, DMZ, even a wired connection, but NOTHING will change my NAT type.

 

I honestly don't care that much, but does anybody know a fix for this?

 

I live in the middle of nowhere so I use an AT&T Velocity 4G LTE hotspot but I get plenty of data so it's good.

First make sure ps4 has static ip.

Asigning that static ip to dmz host is last resort i would try port forwarding first.

 

Application                      TCP Ports                                              UDP Ports

PlayStation 4          80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480                         3478-3479

 

after this it should go from nat type 3 to 2 while it is really open.

 

There bunch more ports i think not sure but this should work.
