FreeNAS question

I have installed FreeNAS 9.0 (forgot which exact, but an installment of 9) and have a quick question.

Before installing any plugins I made my ZFS Raid Z3 array and added my data to it, is it possible to add a plugin after doing so? I have no jail setup currently, just data, do I need to reset the array and install the plugins/jail first?

Also last question.. I have 7 drives in the machine and it recommended raid z3 for the optimal performance, but will I lose anything going to raid z2, besides the obvious parity change?

You will not lose any data with setting up a plugin.

As for the Z3 to Z2, I don't think it is possible, please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I must have been doing something wrong then because I added the PBI for Transmission and it was not installing correctly and there were no Plugins showing under the 'Pugins' tab, which I think they should be for 9.x.

And I would not mind re-doing the array if need be, as I need to add a drive anways. I will try again tonight and re-post.

Ahh I don't understand! I rebooted the nas, and then all the plugins showed up available for download so I downloaded and installed Transmission but it's not showing up under the Plugins tab and it will not let me turn it on, it gives an error.
