New Home Server Thoughts

I want to replace my old home server that is an old hp Compaq with a Pentium 4 and I compiled this list. It will be in my closet on a wire rack shelf for airflow and just to hide it away. Is it any good or should I rethink it. I will be running FreeNAS. Can I remotely connect to FreeNAS from anywhere?
