Sound Low

Ive maxed sound in every possible windows setting and I've updated all my drivers. I've tried two pairs of headphones and a headset with the same low volume. I need help. I have no idea what is wrong. This has never happened before. I have tryed my headphones and set on my phone and mothers computer and they work fine. i'm using a msi motherboard gaming 7's ports

I first noticed it in skype. then later relized everything was low

have u tired realtek audio to make it louder?

That was the first thing i tried. To no avail. My ears should be bleeding but they are not

I also have plugged them into different ports. To still hear low sound.

do they have a mechanical volume mixer on the headphone cord?

Yes they do. I have Lowered and raised this.to make sure it is on the proper postion for sound instead of mute. It is on.
