How do i disable CPU Folding?

Go to solution Solved by tobben,

You can simply pause the slot and leave it like that. But for more drastic measures, you can

delete the slot altogether, it won't affect the cpu resources allocated to the gpu slot.

Go into the desktop client, configure top left corner, select the slots tab then just remove the

cpu slot.

Is there a way to do this?

I want to fold using my GPU only, and 1 cpu core to help it.

Remove the CPU slot in the program.

I wanted to know if disabling the cpu slot would affect the cpu resorces allocated to the gpu.

Thanks for the fast answer!

One GPU will use one core to feed it.

Like tobben said, disabling the cpu slot will not affect this, right?

That is correct. I currently fold on my 660 Ti without a CPU slot.

No problem, you would notice a very obvious and sudden ppd plummet if it did :P
