I've just installed a fresh version of windows 10 using an iso (not updated from 8.1) and it worked.... then i removed the hdd and put it in my main rig to move some files over and when i goes to boot it up again, it is reluctant to work so now it has got past the windows logo....it is stuck on this screen.... any ideas?

so you took a hdd(which had the os installed in it that pc1 used) from pc1, and put it in pc2, you chose that to be the boot drive, and it doesent boot? if thats the case, i say: NO SH*T!

my pc got stuck in rebooting when i introduced my hdd as a boot drive to another pc which didnt have same parts in it.

edit: try to explain better so i dont have to guess. you took hdd from pc1, then you put it in pc2 to move some files(and that worked, right?), and then you put it back to pc1 and now its stuck in windows boot logo?

simple terms here we go....

1. install fresh windows on HDD whilst in this lenovo laptop pictured above.

2. Once that had finished i want to quickly transfer some files over to the laptop so i removed it and placed it in my main rig for fast SATA transfer speeds.

2. They finished transferred with no problems so i put the HDD back into the laptop and she doesn't boot into windows (stuck on windows logo).

4. I finally get it to boot further but it is stuck in the position pictured above, i can only interact with the options on screen, no ctrl alt delete.

That better?

yup thats better. this is what ya do now: press and hold the power button to shut it down, then press again to power it on, then when its trying to boot up press and hold power button again to shut it down in the middle of it booting up(before you get to the point where its stuck like in that picture), and repeat this few times. at some point windows will ask you to fix boot(or something like that), because it notices there are problems when it tries to boot up(obviously it notices problems when you shut it down in the middle of booting up.) then windows tries to fix itself and gives you some options that i dont remember exactly, but once you are at that point you will figure that out.
