can't seem to overclock

Rayyan
Go to solution Solved by xAcid9,

Did you check the clock speed in MSI AB or GPU-Z? Is it still at stock after you click apply and run some 3D app/game or is it fluctuating? Did you increase the card power limit to +20?
Try use Sapphire TriXx.

i can't seem to get any overclock to work on my power colour r9 280. I've been tweaking with radeon settings and msi afterburner but no matter what i do nothing happens to my clock speeds. i set both sliders to min and max and no value of my benchmark changes. any ideas?
