Have you overclocked your CPU at all? You say prime95 "does it 9/10 times" - what do you mean? If you mean you get errors, then i'm assuming you have overclocked, if this is the case, ensure you have sufficient voltage for your CPU. What temps are you getting?

When I run prime95. 12 workers I get a max temp of 69c and it's no popular errors. The prob is that 9/10 times I turn the tower on and get to the desk top I can do anything for few men's and then it as as if it's to slow to do anything and is not responding but I can move mouse. And there is no OC the settings are set to XMP Nd I can sea the waterblock again if you think that's the prob

I had a similar issue when upgrading from my socket 775 P4 to an E8400 back in the day, for me it was a BIOS issue that was quickly fixed by updating it. Pherhaps your motherboard was shipped with a BIOS version that doesn't play nicely with your CPU?

Ram could also be another issue, remove all but one and test it.

Remove the secondary 690, I've had issues with some motherboards in the past where I needed to change settings to get a PCIE lane to function correctly.

Your 6 drives in raid 0 may also be causing an issue if the driver failed to install properly or incorrect driver was installed. If you have a spare drive try booting off of that. Also double check that your motherboard has them set to RAID mode.

Ok, i did the memtest86 , passed (i did all 4 dimms at the same time) i dont think its the memory.

as for the 6 HDD in raid , i do have the bios set to raid mode and i have tred installing on one hdd and same thing happends,

but i have a pci swith on the rampage 4 extreme that turns of slots 1-4 and when i run one of the gtx 690s its fine , but i have ran both cards by them selfs

and they work fine, but when i enabe both of them is the only time it does it.

i have the cards in 16x 16x could that be a proble i have updated the bios to 3404, and i know when you put more than 2 cards it drops to16x 8x 8x or 8x 8x 8x 8x but i thought sence it is 2 cards they would be fine to put them in 16x 16x, if there is somthing u guys think i can try to resolve this please let me know and i will try it asap.

thanks again for everyones time

One thing to note with the Rampage IV Extreme, when updating the BIOS, you may need to run the CAP converter first before updating to the most recent version. Its what i had to do. Easy process to fix tho, you can get the CAP converter directly fromt he ASUS website, http://www.asus.com/ROG/RAMPAGE_IV_EXTREME/#support_Download_30 ,from there put it in the root directory of a flash drive, place the flash drive in your ROG connect slot, and hold the ROG connect button for about 5 seconds untill it starts blinking. At that point leave it alone, it will take 2-5 min to complete the flash. Best part is that you can have the system fully powered off for the BIOS update to complete. You only need the power supply connected. As for the board itself, being a 2011 socket, it runs 16x 8x 16x 8x slots. 1st and 3rd run 16x.

If that is fine, i would suggest defaulting BIOS and make sure everything runs fine from there, afterwards start making your changes one part at a time. such as reset RAID, then XMP, then whatever other changes you made, just to make sure that each change or addition isnt the root problem.
