Posted January 3, 2016 I just purchased a new macbook pro 13 retina and I'd like to pick up a thunderbolt dock to give me some more ports. The dock needs to plug into a thunderbolt port on my laptop and have the following additional ports: - HDMI - mini displayport - 2 USB - USB type C would be nice but not necessary The most important thing is that both hdmi and mini dp work at the same time so I can use 2 external monitors concurrently. Posted January 3, 2016 Author What monitors are you using? Honestly, just 2 random monitors that we had lying around in the lab. One is just a regular old samsung monitor connected via HDMI.
