Motherboard Fastboot

Do motherboard companies have better boot times?
MSI has "MSI fastboot" and every other company has thier own ones as well.
But is there any difference?
 

Just for reference, my MSI 970 Gaming boots in 15 seconds (before the SDD firmware disaster -.-) including post.
Post takes 10 seconds normally with fastboot on.
