I was stress testing my cpu using aida64 extreme(trial) to see what temps my cpu gets to under load and how loud my pc is with my new venturi fans. Whilst doing so I was using the built in temperature monitor in aida64 to see my cpu temps, I was quite shocked to see under full load my cpu was only at 51c considering I'm only using a Arctic Freezer 13 CO which isn't bad but most likely wouldn't give me these very low load tempsSo I decided to load up CAM(by nzxt) to see what temps it was saying I was getting under full load and it says 79c, I am wondering which program is giving me the correct temperature and why I would be getting two different temperatures.

Thanks for any help in advance!

use Core Temp for temps

When I use core temp the idle temps are 6c and load temps are 27c which is obviously wrong

Odd :/

Use the Bios then

AMD chips have bad sensors. HWmonitor is one software that gets temps right most of the time.

Odd :/

Use the Bios then

BIOS can't be used to check on load temps. And it isn't that odd to get bad readings with AMD CPU. CoreTemp isn't known for being good with AMD chips.

Core Temp used to work fine for my Athlon II and Phenom II

Older version perhaps. Idk, what I've seen withing last year or two, CoreTemp isn't that reliable with AMD overall.

Currently using Real Temp and Aida64

In my experience Core Temp is very inaccurate for AMD CPUs across the board.

You should look at HWMonitor or HWiNFO, they tend to give accurate readings on AMD platforms:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php

RealTemp is also reported to be fairly good on AMD CPUs, but I've had the most success with the programs above.

Best of luck.

I use speedfan

Seems to give legit readings.

After some testing I believe that aida64's reading and speedfans readings seem to be more accurate and normal as CAM and HWMonitor both give very high readings(78c at idle even though when i put my hand by my exhaust fans cool air is coming out), whilst Real Temp doesnt even accept my processor . I guess Arctics claims of very low temps are correct(claims found here on the listing http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005IOLEJO/ref=twister_B00MECA2P0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ) Thanks for everyone's help!
