So I'm seeing the leaked Titan benchmark (won't link so Linus doesn't get into trouble, google it it's easy to find) where the Titan is rated to be about 6/8th - 7/8th of a 690 on 3D mark. Basicly you can probably get 1.75 times the performance of 2 ARES II on 4 Titans (if drivers are well tuned). Could this be the point where an i7-3970X can be the bootleneck of 4 Titans? Games aren't really using all 6 cores that much, even less the hyper threading. Can't wait to see if the Titan will shine more with next-gen games wich will problably use more multi-cores seeing how both new consoles are rumoured to run 8 cores.

What do you think? Is this a useless effort where the Titan isn't gonne shine except on synthetic benchmarks until next-gen games?

Titan will shine when it comes to huge resolutions

triple monitor 3d vision on quad SLI titans... :D

Or imagine if they made a Titan x2, GTX 695 or whatever and it could run in 8 way SLI... NERDGASM!

BTW sorry for double post I could figure how to insert 2 quotes

With 6GB of memory it will probably, if not 2 of those will certainly do. If 2 don't cut it imma slit my throat on the fan of one of those :P
