Reap panel audio issue.

Whenever I try to plug my speakers into the rear I/O the left speakers acts normally but the right speakers sounds distorted, there is no issue when plugged into the front panel header however. I'm using a Z170A Krait edition motherboard from MSI. Was just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this.
