Mx Master connection issues

I just got an MX master today and have been having some issues. When I turn my computer off, it loses connection. When I go to turn it back on, neither the bluetooth or the receiver will connect. In order for me to click the password bar to get into my computer, I have to get out another mouse. I am using a mac, so I am not sure whether that will change anything.
