Which modem router combo

Why would buy one? Does your ISP not provide you with the neccessary hardware to access their network?

If they are like Comcast they charge monthly for one. I would recommend a separate modem and router. Ive never had good luck with the combo's. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
