Help My PC wont boot

i have built my pc AMD 6300 8GB ram (2x4) r9 380 550w evga psu and a msi 970 gaming mobo and when i turn on the pc i just get a blank screen and it wont go to the bios or anything what has happend and how can i fix this  

Make sure your monitor is displaying the correct port from your computer (HDMI if thats the cable and so on), if not, try a dry boot: single stick of RAM in the closest slot to the CPU, GPU in the PCI-e slot closest to the CPU, NO HARD DRIVES OR SSDs, and the power supply plugged into only the motherboard and graphics card. And see if that gets you to the BIOS. If that works, shut the system all the way down and add hardware one piece at a time to see if you can find what piece is the problem.
