*i am not trying to sell/trade anything here and am not suggesting anything illegal or against the COC.

 

 

so i was looking at gift cards and i found tons of these sites that sell huge gift cards super discounted, so i wondered, is there some money to be made here? you could buy the $900 gift card, and with it buy 36 $25 gift cards with it and sell them for $20 each (there is a huge market for discounted gift cards at this price), and you would be making a $50 profit ($230 saved - $180 lost from re-selling at a discounted price). Now i know its only $50, but it can also be done completely online and can be repeated with tons of other brands (i saw similar discounts with H&M, Target, AEO..). is this a good idea or am i over looking something? 

 

$25 gift cards at a $5 discount sell almost instantly on ebay, but you could probably sell them slower at a smaller discount too and increase your profit. Selling them at a $3 discount ($22) would profit $108.

They're probably discounted because no one really cares for those gift cards. I don't know if I'd do this.

i assumed that was why at first, but i checked on ebay international, and tons of them sell for that price every single day, probably because of the holidays, but it seems pretty constant. im not going to do this though.. don't have $1000s laying around. maybe someday
