I NEED HELP!

So i bought components for a pc build and when i came to test these outside the case i found i had a problem there was no video output and no beeps to tell me the problem as i dont have a speaker for my motherboard

you sure you plugged the monitor into the gpu socket and not the motherboard socket?

Yes i definetly have it connected to the gpu by hdmi
