Upgrading Pre-built Desktop

Go to solution Solved by HKZeroFive,

Seeing how you have a locked CPU, I went with a cheaper H97 mobo instead. Fractal Design make some great cases so I'd definitely recommend to look around for one you'd like. As for your build, I'd probably save up for a 4GB 380 in the future but that is entirely optional:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor  (Purchased For $0.00)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($101.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Fractal Design Define S w/Window ATX Mid Tower Case  ($99.99 @ Canada Computers)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($89.98 @ Newegg Canada)
Total: $291.96
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Like aneil said, Corsair and Noctua fans are pretty good so get some you'd like.

I'm not really sure if this would count as a 'new build' but I'm gonna post here anyway.

During the summer, I bought myself a pre-built desktop, it was a terrible idea but whatever. I'm planning to upgrade it, but I'm unsure of what parts would work best with my current components, so if someone could help out that'd be great.

I've got a Dell 0KWVT8 motherboard, with 4x6 DDR3 ram chips, as well as a radeon r9 270 GPU, a 460W PSU,  i7-4790 core, a 2TB HDD and a 250GB SSD.

I'm looking to upgrade my case(which is a lame default dell case), PSU, and motherboard, as well as install more fans.

I've got a budget of about $500 CAD, if anyone could help me where to start or which components to buy, that would be amazing.

The fans are up to you.

I would recommend either Corsair or Noctua
