Recommendation for internal card reader?

Can you guys recommend a truly high quality internal card reader?  Every single one I've looked at has VERY mixed reviews.  I purchased a 3.5" from Addonics, but I'm having nothing but issues with it and the quality does not seem to be great.  I just want to speed up the read times on my CF cards from my DSLR camera.  Using USB2 is painful.

5.25"

CF is the primary use

SD is secondary

USB 3.0 x2

I need to connect it to a USB 3 port on my sabertooth z87.

The Addonics that I purchased does not have USB 3.0 ports and that's actually okay.  It connects to the MB via SATA.  My preference would be to have it connect to USB 3 and have some ports available as well.

This one looks good, but the reviews have me worried: http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Aperture-Internal-5-25-Inch-8c-aper000-w0b/dp/B008KEPWMY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377883776&sr=8-1&keywords=nzxt+card+reader+internal

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Matt

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the USB 3.0 cable only is used for the USB 3.0 ports.

That would definitely be a deal killer, unless the card reader uses SATA.  I could live with that....assuming it actually works and allows you to swap cards.

The cardreader in the NZXT Switch 810 hooks up via a sata cable. So atleast it's possible

Why do the reviews have you worried?  The reviews on it look good.

Many of the negative reviews state that the CF reader is flimsy and the pins get bent easily.  Since the CF will be my primary use, that worries me.  Also, it looks like it actually uses usb 2.0 for the card readers so that's not going to work.

After doing more research, it sounds like all the CF readers that use SATA are a little finicky.  It sounds like USB 3.0 is the more appropriate format.  So, I think I'm going to try this one unless someone has another recommendation?
