Is this a reliable SSD?

Speedstack79

I have the 256gb version of that one. It's fine.

In terms of reliability, its fine

however as for performance, its not great for such a dated drive

It is reliable, but for that price you can do better. You can litterally spend about 20 dollars more and get a 128gb drive.

I bought two of these about a year ago they are pretty good drives for the price but after about 8 months one of them failed (think it was just a dodgy drive) but my other one is still going strong price to storage ratio has dramatically dropped since i bought them but id say if your looking for a cheap and fairly good drive this is probably your guy

hope it helps

i would recommd getting a vertex 4 and in a 128gb capacity or raid 0 two 60gb. if its for os and programs (games included) you will benefit from the extr astorage space.

more reliable brand? OCZ is awesome....get a vertex 3 instead of the agility 3,last gen ones are cheap now !! if you can increase the budget by a bit...get the 120 gig one, it will be a little faster and more storage space will always help!

Get Vertex 4 drives, Samsung 840, or Intel drives. ALl those have pretty decent reliability

The agility series has always been just kinda meh. Not to say that they're bad but I would go with something like a vertex 4 if you want to stay within OCZ or something like a crucial M4, an Intel 520, or a samsung 840 (pro) if you're willing to look at other brands.
