Internet Upstairs.

Hey guys. I build a computer for christmas and now all thats left is getting internet to it. Our router is downstairs and my comp is in my room upstairs. I dont think woreless will be fast enough and my parents dont want a wire going upstairs. Is there another option that is still good for gaming, skype, and other stuff. Thanks!

Umm, rout the cable outside the house?

Either powerline adapter or you try wifi, or you run the cable outside

like everybody else said, powerline, or run the cable outside.

alternatively, you could run the cable up the wall through the ceiling. its not hard to make it look good but that really only works if your room is directly above the router. you could also just move your computer downstairs, or move the router upstairs
