Hybrid vs SSD+HD

Basically title. Looking at the cost it would be more expensive for the SSD+HD however after doing research hybrids seem to have reasonably good performance. Is there a reason I don't see them in many build guides? Are they just overlooked because SSD's seem to be a must in most systems as of late? Looking for input.

it would be about 5 seconds slower than a ssd there is basically no difference
