Func MS3 R2?

I just wanted to know if anyone has used the Func MS-3 for a while. I've been looking at it for a while because I have pretty big hands and hate rubbing the side of my hands on my mouse mat. If you do own the Func MS3, do you enjoy it, are there any problems that you have experienced using it, and would you recommend it?

I was so close to getting this mouse, went with the mionix naos instead.  Not much help i know lol  :lol:

Same here.

 

Reasons I opted for the Mionix Naos 7000 were:

• Func MS-3 is a laser mouse
• Func MS-3 had known firmware issues (that were fixed with the R2)

 

Also, Func was recently acquired by Fnatic. You'll be hard pressed to find an up-to-date version of their drivers and firmware as the website for Func now redirected to a Fnatic announcement page instead. Not to mention that it will most likely be completely impossible to get any kind of RMA or warranty from the manufacturer. You'll basically be dependant on the retailer for anything related to RMA and warranties and you might be able to find the software hosted on a third party site.

 

Honestly, I cannot recommend the Func mice for anyone at this point. Which is kind of sad, considering that they offered something fairly unique (4 side buttons, the massive pinky rest on the MS-3).
