How do I clone an ssd?

On samsungs website it says that other ssds are not supported. The drive I'm installing is a samsung, but the drive I have right now in my system is from kingston, will that be a problem?

When Samsung mentions what drives are supported, they mean the target/destination drive.  You can clone/migrate the data from your Kingston drive to your Samsung drive using the software, but not vice versa.  That's what they mean.

So currently I have a 240gb ssd in my pc. I just bought a 500gb ssd for an upgrade. What is an easy way to duplicate the drive so I don't have to reinstall windows and start all over?

Use macrium reflect, or Acronis.
