So I decided to turn on MSI Fastboot to minimize my startup time. It only seems to have knocked off 2 or 3 seconds. Is that all I should expect, or is something wrong?

 

Also, every time I boot up my computer Fastboot will turn itself on and I have to click the little x to make it go away. Anyway I can make it stop doing that? Get's kind of annoying ._.

MSI Fastboot only reduces the time the motherboard splash screen get displayed. The actual boot time of your OS depends on whether you have an ssd or not. So far there is no way to prevent the MSI Fastboot popup from displaying so I'm afraid you will have to deal with that.

Hmm it didn't remove the motherboard splash screen at all. Maybe it isn't working?

Fast Boot reduces the time the POST spends checking the memory. That is all it does.

It does not remove the splash screen, it only reduces the time it gets displayed.
