Thanks to both of you, well, I prefer having more space, seems pointless having a total of 256 GB and loosing 370 GB. Nah, I don't really need that speed, I'm an enthusiast and I like gaming and video editing, I was just wondering it would be nice to get that speed because well, I've got the two SSD so..since I haven't got to pay anything, any free speed is welcome, but I had no idea that I would sacrifice that amount of GB so I think I'll just install Windows 10 Build 10586 into the 500 GB 850 evo and use the 128 GB Kingston for editing large files as a secondary drive, I've already got about 4 TB of mechanical HDD's to store files and games so I think my setup is done with that.

Thanks for your repplies!

Yes you can RAID two different SSDs together. It will not be as reliable as doing a RAID with two matching SSDs though (but of course why would that matter that's not what a RAID 0 is for). You MAY be able to get 1GB/s with that setup (you will be able to at least achieve close to that) but RAID is a finicky thing and speeds are never guaranteed to be as good as theoretical speeds.

Ok so just one more question, I'm about to clean install Windows 10 on my laptop and I'm going to take off tha Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500 GB and stack there the Kingston 128 GB, so my question is, could I now do a RAID 0 with the 840 and 850 EVO? they're both 500 GB and are both Samsung, the only difference is that the 840 has Read speed of 520 MB/s and write speed of 500 MB/s, the 850 has 540/520 respectively, so would I get a 1TB storage and 1 GB/s speed now? It's not really a problem, is just that I've got 3 SSD and only 2 computers so I was wondering how to get a boost speed in one of them that's all. Thanks for your help both of you by the way
