First mouse mod: Razer Impcrator

Hi all,

I have been planing on modding my mouse for quite some time. I'm very new to modding and I don't really know where to stat. I want to change the two lights from blue to red (the mouse wheel and the Razer logo light), as well as changing the side, front and bottom colors to red but keep the side buttons black. As I'm new to all this I don''t know where to look for LED lights and the right type of paint for my mouse. I did a bit of research on this mouse and some mods that other people have done and they sand the mouse down before painting the color. is there a type of sand paper I should use for this mouse ? How would I install the lights to the mouse ?

Thanks for your help. Any import would be appreciated.

I'm not a modding expert, but couldn't you get some slightly transparent light filters to change the color? Just put some along the the LED and that may work.
