help for choosing pc

kakhat

I want to build a pc and I was thinking, should I wait for a pascal gpu and build 60 fps 1080 p pc or spend 2000  something and build a pc with 980 ti on 1440p

Also do you know how much more powerful will it be then 980 ti and around when will it be released

According to sources the Pascal GPU's will be 10 times better than Haswell GPU's

That also means there price could be 10 times the price of a 980ti...

Your choice in the end lol

Wow this was old as heck, Need to update this signature!

If you reaaalllly want a PC now you should build it, else you can wait, in the mean time you can build a PC without a dedicated GPU

They have 10 times the compute power, not raw performance. This would only apply to workstations, not Gaming.

Yea, If in that case the 980ti would be worth it then for gaming

If you have the budget for it now and want 1440p, go for it man.

They will likely just brand it the 1000 series, so the 1080 Ti. I don't have a crystal ball but I'm guessing (based on past advancements) that the 980 Ti will be about between the 1070 and 1080 for gaming performance.
