So, as I'm getting more and more into technology, I've started to see some of the cool things that can be done with the rPI. I already think that I'm going to build a small DNS caching machine using one. But, I wanted to know if you guys could recommend any fun, and easy projects that can be done as time wasters and as a way to learn some of the coding involved. Whether you've done them or not, leave any suggestions below!

Thanks in advance! -JGunnz

Some very easy things I already did is setting it up as a media pc, using it as local NAS and stuff like this.

The most complex one was to set it up to stream sound, that is input into it (Live, a mic e.g.), to be accesed by any kind of device connected to the local LAN. Windows, Android, IOS etc.

Thanks! I was mainly thinking of fun projects around the house, so you were right on.
