So guys I'm new to PC building so I want to learn some more about motherboard chipsets. Soon I'm going to be building a new PC and I don't understand what's the difference between all of those different chipsets: B150, H110, H170, Z170 (It is an Intel Skylake 6700k build). Do I need a Z170 to be able to overclock my CPU? What's the best chipset for a high-end build? Right now I can't choose between this two motherboards the Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H and the MSI H170 Gaming M3. I need help.

And also I'd like to hear any recommendation for another motherboard if you have any.
Thanks!

Only Z170 motherboards can overclock.

Choose any motherboard that suit your needs.

What's the budget of the whole system? I can help you picking decent config.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

To overclock a "K" series CPU, you need a Z170 chipset.  If the CPU you're buying doesn't have a "K" suffix, I would get H170, which is the non overclocking chipset.
