Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install windows 10 but I keep getting this error on my screen when I got to install. I feel like I need drivers to help me but I can't find the right one and can't determine if I am even right.

Has anyone seen this error? The mother board is a asrock p67 extreme6 p1.60.

Thanks for the help everyone! Merry Christmas.

Put the mobo's driver disk in your ODD to see what happens.

1. Can bios detect your ssd?

2. If detected, is it set to ahci rather than ide/legacy?

3. Courtesy question: can we confirm that the install media works fine?

1. bios has detected the SSD.

2. It is an ahci

3. I don't have another computer to test the installation with.

sounds like the installer cant talk to the sata ports. usually not an issue if the ports are intel ports, ie does not go through an external chipset.

you want to check which of your ports correspond with the intel controller?

also, if you have installed it on the intel controller and it still does not detect the hdd, you can also try this:

the P67 was a freakous mess.

intel only allowed 4 - SATAII (3GB/sec) ports (BLUE)

intel only allowed 2 - SATAIII (6GB/sec) ports (WHITE - SATA3_0/SATA3_1)

marvell only has 4 SATAIII ports (6GB/sec) (WHITE)

so verify your SSD is installed in ports WHITE - SATA3_0/SATA3_1

from the error prompt it is looking for the marvell driver
