Hey LTT community,

I am thinking about upgrading my current display setup. At the moment I run a cheaper ACer 1080p 60 HZ screen with shit colour quality and an older Benq 1400x900 75Hz as secondary screen. For christmas I also got some money and I wanted to know wether you can get a decent gaming monitor for 400€ or bellow with following specs: 2560x1440, 60 Hz/Fps, good looking colour recreation, Display port (normal size, not mini or with adapter)

I wanna do gaming with it by the way.

i5 4690k 4,2Ghz

EVGA gtx 970 SC

4x4Gb DDR3 Kingston hyperX Savage 1600mhz CL9

Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3

Silverstone 750W 80+Gold

thanks in advance,

Peasant

i think i am gonna go with the AOC Q2770PQU. Its probably the best 1440p monitor for 400€ that I could find, its got 5ms latency, 60hz, 1440p, Pivot, height adjustment, USB3.0, and several connector options as well, I am gonna connect it with DP 1.2

It has also got 27inch, I would usually say that those big screens are useless, but since its 1440p, its important to also make use of those extra pixels ;)
