Need help with new microphone

I just got my new HyperX cloud today and quickly went into a CS-GO match and found that the headphones work but the mic doesn't, i tried searching up ways to fix this, people say go into control panel then audio and then change the microphone from the built in one to the new one but my mic doesn't show up there.

 

can someone please help

If your mean the microphone that i an using, it is apart of the headset, it is an analog imput

ok found it (window 10), it does have a microphone displayed, it says on it... microphone then under conexant SamrtAudio HD

Right click on it, and select "Properties"

 

Under properties, (somewhere) there should be an option called "Listen to this Device" check the box. (Please note, you may have to search through some of the tabs to find it)

 

Now click apply.

 

Tell me what happens when you try and speak in CS:GO.

yeah the mic is peaking.

 

Turn the mic down just a wee bit.

 

Maybe move the mic away from your face.

Hmm. Is the Mic Plug in all the way on both the Headset and the MoBo jack?

Turning down volume won't help. Turning down gain will help, if there's even an option for gain anywhere in the settings.

welp, im going on a 2 week cruise tomorrow (Australian Time) soooo, i guess ill just leave it for now,have a nice sleep, thanks for trying to help.
