Cheaper M.2 PCIe Alternative to Intel 750 PCIe 1.2 TB SSD

azorahai

Hi all,

I love the potential speed afforded by Intel's NVME PCIe 750 series 1.2TB SSD but in Canada the price (+$1,400) is unmanageable.

I'd sacrifice some speed for a small M.2 PCIe SSD with good storage size that is still faster than a SATA based SSD and significantly cheaper than the Intel NVME.

What are my options?

Thx.

The end user experience (unless you copy large files across a network or something) will not be affected by getting an Intel SSD. Go with a Samsung 850/950 Evo/Pro.

LIBERATOR: Core i5 6400 @ 2.7GHz | GeForce GTX 670 2 GB | HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 @ 2133 MHz | 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD
My new build; Liberator, Check it out

The more friendly we are, the more helpful we are!

MY OLD BUILD (AKA PREBUILT MONSTROSITY)
INSANITY: AMD Athlon II X2 @ 3.0 GHz | Geforce GT 720 2 GB | 4 GB DDR3 @ 1333 MHz | 120 GB Silicon Power SSD | 500 GB Hitachi HDD

Thx all. I should mention that I don't need 1.2 tb. 750-800 gigs ideal.
