Something to Ask

Hi there, i've just wanted to ask something.
Well in this past few days my pc automatically restart. and i dont know why. 
it happens rarely when i switch(alt + tab) from desktop into game. and after like 1-2sec it will hang and i can here some hanging sound(like ERRRRRRRRRRR) from speaker and it will restart.

this happen rarely and it already happened 2x this week. so im thinking what is the problem is it the cpu? or the PSU? my psu is not a true rated and it is generic 650w. my cpu is a8 6600k with deep cool gammaxx 400 cooler.
Im thinking what is the problem? is it the Temperature? or is it the psu not supplying enough power?

also anyone can explain to me what will happen if the temp of cpu is over(will it shut down or will it restart.)

btw my microsoft setting (restart when hardware fails) is disabled.
