I think it's 1GB RAM per 1TB so 4GB RAM should be fine for the time being.

Im planing to use old PC as NAS

-Pentium E6500

-ASUS P5KPL SE

-Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 (Probably not going to use it)

-4 GB of DDR2 RAM

-Some PSU

So I wanted to use FreeNAS but it needs 8 GB of RAM.

Any suggestion of tips because it is my first time doing it.

If this turn out working I would be using two 1TB Seagate Barracuda in RAID 1
