ok so here's what happened.

basically i return from town and turn on my pc. go to the kitchen to make some tea, and when i come back i see that my pc is no on. what i noitcied that my power button was pressed in but no lights were on.

so i just unstuck button and turn it on again.

it turned on, for a 3~ secs ? , and then it turned off again. then turned on again and i got this screen

so i waited for it to finish and it rebooted.

now i'm sitting here wondering what could have caused this (friend mentioned something about stuck power button too) and what can i expect ?

you seem rather happy, i guess not much have happened, and i dont supose it messed up anything in windows huh ?

Most likely not. Maybe some sort of power cut? You'd find that all your previous settings in the BIOS would've been overwritten.

tbh i dont know.  i dont think it was power cut (checked my router 108 days run time, its plugged in same spot as pc)

i have never been in my bios before, i did not really had a reason to go there (besides changing boot drive to rewrite widows).

What PSU? Maybe there was a power surge or something...

Virus attack most likely. Good thing your Mb has backup. Classic solution was to download bios update and somehow do a flash. Otherwise they need to buy new MB

huh that's weird , shouldn't my antivirus catch that kind of stuff (i know its not perfect, but cmon i dont go to sites that i dont trust or sm sh)

Don't be a nena360.

It was likely the power button being stuck down. Corrupted the BIOS at boot, and when you rebooted it had to reflash your primary BIOS data. Just use your computer as normal and try to clean up that power button. No more PB&J sammiches while Gaming.

Life is never complete without PB&J sammiches.

Maybe try and look around the are where the actual switch is located in the case and see if there's anything that could cause it to jam, that is, if it bothers you enough.

i guess if i ever get a chance i will try it.

and it does not bother me that much, unless this bios stuff repeats, i dont think i will do anything about it.
