Ethernet troubles

For most of today I've been trying to get Internet to the PC I just built via Ethernet, but it's not been working. In device manager it says it cannot start (Code 10), and that the requested operation was unsuccessful. It is an Intel® Ethernet Connection (2) l219-V Properties cable, and I'm running Windows 10 64 bit. Please give suggestions on what might be wrong or how I could fix t

You may need to install drivers for the device. Hot spot your phone over a USB connection, or download them from intel or the Motherboard manufacturers website and put them on a USB. This should resolve the issue. 

 

Occasionally a USB hotspot will allow W10 to use Windows Update to install Ethernet drivers.

To check if you need drivers right-click on the windows icon in the corner and then select "Device Manager", if there is anything with a yellow triangle next to it it means you need to install drivers, hope this helped :D
