Laptop cooler ?

It should work, but unless you laptop is overheating you'd be better off just getting a little plastic frame for it so it's not on your lap.

Im basically getting it to keep noise levels down when gaming as if the laptop is cooler then the fans in the laptop woildnt spin as loud

The laptop is a y700 btw

I can't guarantee anything, but I believe that cooler should work decently for your purposes. I would suggest you make sure you can return it if it doesn't do what you want, but I used to have a single fan cooler that worked fine. Yours should work even better.
